Seaplanes

Between 1946 and 1950 it was proposed that the Department of Civil Aviation establish a flying boat base at Kurnell for service between Botany Bay and Sydney. Although the base was never set up, seaplanes did occasionally land in Botany Bay, in front of Alpha House.
